IIT Guwahati, in collaboration with EduRade, a brand owned by RC HobbyTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and incubated at IIT Guwahati Research Park, launched India's 'largest' Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO), spanning across 18 acres and boasting the capability to fly nine medium-class drones simultaneously. The objective of this RPTO is to promote the advancement of drone technology in India.

The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF) and IIT Guwahati Technology Incubation Centre (IIT Guwahati TIC) have signed a two-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support technology startups and promote entrepreneurship. This partnership will create collaboration between ADIF's network of startups and entrepreneurs and IIT Guwahati's pool of innovators, faculty, and incubation facilities. Under the agreement, ADIF will offer alliance membership to IITG TIC's portfolio startups, providing them with discounted services, resources, and mentorship opportunities. In return, IITG TIC will support ADIF members with mentoring, market connections, pitching support, and networking events. Both organizations will also organize startup courses, workshops, hackathons, and research initiatives.
