Google’s expanded Find My Device network might arrive in a few days

Google is set to launch its Find My Device network, which uses data from other Android devices to locate missing phones and accessories. In an email notification to users, Google stated that the feature will be enabled in three days. The network can be used to find disconnected or offline accessories, such as earbuds, headphones, and trackers. Users will receive a notification when the feature is activated and have the option to opt out through Find My Device on the web. The launch was originally delayed due to Apple's delay in rolling out tracker alerts for all devices, not just AirTags.
