Google has introduced new updates to Google Maps in India, including the integration of Lens, an AI-powered feature that simplifies searching for nearby places. The Lens in Maps feature allows users to access information about nearby restaurants and cafes by pointing their camera down a street. Additionally, the update includes Address Descriptors, which automatically identifies landmarks and area names surrounding a pinned address. Google also plans to introduce Live View walking navigation in India, offering arrows, directions, and distance markers for easy navigation. The updates aim to enhance the overall user experience and provide innovative features tailored for the Indian market.
