Go Digit’s revenue falls in Q1 FY25 but profit spikes 90%

Go Digit General Insurance’s revenue from operations (net premium) decreased 8% to Rs 1,824 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 1,982 crore in Q4 FY24. However, its gross premium stood at Rs 2,660 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. The Bengaluru-based company also demonstrated strong financial standing during the previous fiscal year ending March 2024, marking a 37.4% year-on-year growth to Rs 7,096 crore (net premium) with its profits ballooning over 5X to Rs 182 crore during the last fiscal year Besides the operational income, Go Digit also made Rs 253 crore from its investments, tallying its overall revenue q Rs 2,077 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,692 crore in Q4 FY24. For the general insurance firm, the claims paid were naturally the largest cost center forming 64.48% of the overall expenditure. Akin to its scale, this cost decreased by 10% to Rs 1,285 crore in Q1FY25. The firm’s spending on commission, employee benefits, business development, sales promotion, and other overheads took its overall expense to Rs 1,993 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 2,198 crore in Q4 FY25. Despite a slight decrease in scale, Go Digit managed to control its costs by 9.3% QoQ, leading to a significant profit increase. Their profits rose by 90.6%, to Rs 101 crore in Q1FY25 from Rs 53 crore in Q4FY24. Sequentially, the firm posted 5X growth in profits during FY24. Go Digit General Insurance’s IPO was valued at Rs 2,616 crore, comprising a fresh issue of Rs 1,250 crore and the remainder offered for sale. The company debuted on the stock exchange on May 23 this year with a share price of Rs 286, marking a 5.1% gain compared to their price band of Rs 258-272 per share. GoDgit’s share price is currently trading at Rs 349.5 (as of 12.13 PM), According to Entrackr’s estimates, its total market capitalization stood at Rs 32,077 crore or $3.86 billion.

Eternal’s revenue from operations grew 70% to Rs 7,167 crore in Q1 FY26 in contrast to Rs 4,206 crore in Q1 FY25, as per the firm’s consolidated financial results sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Eternal operates several business units, including a food marketplace, Hyperpure, and a quick commerce platform, BlinkIt. Income from Eternal’s food delivery business contributed 31% of the total revenue in Q1 FY26, growing 16% to Rs 2,261 crore from Rs 1,942 crore in Q1 FY25. Revenue from Hyperpure (B2B supplies) and the quick commerce segment (Blinkit) saw significant growth, rising 89% to Rs 2,295 crore and 155% to Rs 2,400 crore, respectively, during the first quarter of FY26. Earnings from the 'Going-out' segment and other non-operating income brought the Eternal Group’s total revenue to Rs 7,521 crore in Q1 FY26. On the cost side, Delivery and related charges accounted for 25% of Eternal's total expenditure, at Rs 1,869 crore in Q1 FY26. Employee benefit cost rose 57% to Rs 830 crore while spending on advertising and marketing increased by 69% to Rs 671 crore in Q1 FY26. Overall, the company’s overall expenditure increased by 77% to Rs 7,433 crore in Q1 FY26, up from Rs 4,203 crore in Q1 FY25. The 70% surge in advertising led the company's profit to fall by 90% to Rs 25 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 253 crore in Q1 FY25. On a per-unit basis, the Gurugram-based company spent Rs 1.04 to earn every rupee of revenue during the quarter ending March 2025. At 15:37 on Monday (July 21), Eternal’s shares were priced at Rs 274, giving the foodtech platform a market capitalization of Rs 2,64,564 crore (approximately $31.2 billion).

Yatra profit spikes 4X in Q1 FY26; revenue doubles Online travel aggregator Yatra has shown impressive growth in scale as well as profits year-on-year. The Gurugram-based firm managed to double its year-on-year revenue during the first quarter of FY26, compared to the same quarter of the previous fiscal (Q1 FY25). Yatra’s revenue from operations increased to Rs 210 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 101 crore in Q1 FY25, according to its consolidated unaudited financials sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Yatra’s operating revenue fell 4% to Rs 210 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 219 crore in Q4 FY25. Income from hotels and packages was the largest revenue source followed by air ticketing and other allied services. It also made Rs 5 crore from financial sources tallying the firm’s overall income to Rs 215 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 109 crore in Q1 FY25. The travel aggregator firm spent 47% of the overall expenditure on Service costs which stood at Rs 94 crore, followed by employee benefits which were recorded at Rs 40 crore. Its spending on marketing, legal, information technology, and other costs pushed its overall expense to Rs 198 crore in Q1 FY26. The twofold year-on-year scale helped Yatra to register a 4X surge in its profits, bringing it to Rs 16 crore in Q1 FY26 against Rs 4 crore in Q1 FY25. On a unit level, the firm spent Re 0.94 to earn a rupee in Q1 FY26 with EBITDA of Rs 28 crore in the same period. At the end of today’s trading session, Yatra was trading at Rs 95.61 with a 3.32% decrease in its share price. Its total market capitalization stood at Rs 1,500 crore.

EaseMyTrip profit falls 98% in Q1 FY26; spends Rs 370 Cr on 3 acquisitions Online travel aggregator (OTA) platform EaseMyTrip has reported dismal performance during the last quarter, with revenue declining over 25% and profit plunging 98% to Rs 44 lakh. EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue decreased by 25.5% to Rs 114 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 25.5 crore in Q1 FY25, as per its financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Air ticketing contributed 50% of the company’s revenue but fell 47% to Rs 57 crore in Q1 FY26, down from Rs 107 crore in Q1 FY25. Hotel packages accounted for 28.5% of total revenue, generating Rs 32.5 crore. Including other undisclosed income, its total income for Q1 FY26 stood at Rs 120 crore, compared to Rs 156 crore in Q1 FY25. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue fell 18% to Rs 114 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 139 crore in Q4 FY25. In line with its scale, total expenses rose 8% to Rs 118 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 109 crore in Q1 FY25. Service costs accounted for 15% of the total, falling 5% to Rs 18 crore in Q1 FY26. Payment gateway charges, employee benefits, and advertising were other major costs for EaseMyTrip in the last quarter. EaseMyTrip’s profit after tax (PAT) fell 98.7% to Rs 44 lakh in Q1 FY26 as compared to Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY25. On a unit basis, the Delhi-based company spent Rs 1.04 to earn a rupee of operating revenue with EBITDA of Rs 6.2 crore during the last quarter. In its board meeting, the company also approved an investment of Rs 175 crore in Three Falcons Notting Hill Limited for a 50% stake, the acquisition of 100% stake in AB Finance Private Limited for Rs 194.4 crore, and approved an investment in Vashu Bhagnani Industries Limited. EaseMyTrip closed Thursday's trading session at Rs 9.22, with a 4% increase in its share price. The company’s total market capitalization stood at Rs 3,353 crore (approx $383 million).

Total income for Q1 FY26 stood at Rs 2,179 crore, up from Rs 2,077 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, showcasing overall financial growth for the company during this period. Go Digit experienced rising expenses in Q1 FY26, including commissions and brokerage costs, which amounted to Rs 572 crore, up from Rs 514 crore in Q1 FY25. Employee benefits also saw an increase, with expenses totaling Rs 90 crore in Q1 FY26. These increases contributed to the overall rise in the firm's expenses during the quarter to Rs 2,058 crore. In terms of claims, the company paid out Rs 903 crore in claims during Q1 FY26 against Rs 718 crore in Q1 FY25. There was also a change in outstanding claims, with an increase to Rs 409 crore in Q1 FY26 compared to Rs 567 crore in Q1 FY25. Despite the higher income, the underwriting loss for Q1 FY26 was Rs 194 crore, a 15% increase from Rs 170 crore in the previous year. At the end, GoDigit’s profit surged 46% to Rs 121 crore during the quarter ending June 2025 as compared to the same quarter in FY24. At the end of the day, Go Digit’s share price was trading at Rs 349 per share, giving the company a total market capitalization of Rs 32,254 crore.

Founded in 2017 by Kamesh Goyal, Go Digit is a full-stack digital insurance company that offers a wide range of non-life insurance policies across sectors such as motor vehicle, health, travel, and property, among others. Go Digit’s profit after tax (PAT) surged 176.46% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 118.52 crore in Q3 FY25, driven by steady revenue expansion and a controlled rise in operating expenses. As of December 31, 2024, Go Digit’s assets under management stood at Rs 18,939 crore. Go Digit competes with other notable players like Acko, ICICI Lombard, Bajaj Allianz, Tata AIG, among others.

Fintech firm Infibeam Avenues on Friday released its financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY25). The company witnessed a 3.6% increase in gross revenue whereas its profit spiked 43% growth during the quarter ending June 2025. Infibeam Avenues’s gross revenue grew to Rs 753 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 727 crore in Q4 FY24, according to the company’s unaudited consolidated quarterly report filed with the National Stock Exchange. The payment business formed 93.6% of the total revenue which stood at Rs 705 crore in Q1 FY25 while the income from providing customized e-commerce solutions brought Rs 39.3 crore to its coffers. Infibeam claims to have over 10 million merchants, with an average daily addition of more than 2,550 merchants in Q1 FY25. At the end, its other operating and financial income pushed Infibeam Avenues’ overall revenue to Rs 781 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 743 crore in Q4 FY24. On the cost front, the operating expenses (including payment processing cost) formed 90% of the overall expenditure. This cost remained flat at Rs 634 crore in Q1 FY25. The firm’s spending on employee benefits, legal, and other overheads took its overall cost up by 3.5% to Rs 703 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 679 crore in Q4 FY24. The increase in other income and consistent growth in scale helped Infibeam to register a 42.9% spike in its profits to Rs 70 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 49 crore in Q4 FY24. On a unit level, The Ahmedabad-based company spent Rs 0.93 to earn rupee in Q1 FY25. The company also acquired a majority stake (54%) in Rediff.com. The acquired company will become a subsidiary of Infibeam Avenue. “With this synergy, we are poised to unlock new dimensions of growth, redefining the essence of cloud and fintech engagement,” said Vishal Mehta, Chairman and MD of Infibeam Avenues. Infibeam Avenue is currently trading at Rs 32.42 (as of 03.00 PM) and its total market capitalization stood at Rs 9,019 crore or $1.1 billion.

The firm’s revenue grew by a mere 3.4% over the period, while profit fell 12.6%. Tracxn's revenue from operations increased 3.4% to Rs 21.2 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 20.5 crore in Q1 FY25, its financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, Tracxn’s operating revenue remained flat at Rs 21.2 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 21.14 crore in Q4 FY25. Tracxn generated its entire operating revenue from subscription sales, offering access to its data and software. However, the Bengaluru-based firm did not provide a detailed revenue breakdown for the quarter. The company also made Rs 1.68 crore from non-operating sources which took Tracxn’s total revenue to Rs 22.88 crore in the first quarter. Employee benefits remained the largest cost center for Tracxn, accounting for 88% of its total expenditure. This expense increased by 7% year-on-year, rising to Rs 18.95 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 17.67 crore in Q1 FY25. Overall, Tracxn's total costs grew by approximately 6%, reaching Rs 21.43 crore in Q1 FY26. The company’s profit after tax decreased to Rs 1.11 crore in Q1 FY26 from a profit of Rs 1.27 crore in Q1 FY25. However, the company reported a profit before tax of Rs 1.45 crore. At the end of Thursday’s session, Tracxn’s share price was trading at Rs 56.24, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 604 crore ($69 million).

CarTrade released its financial results for the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year (Q1 FY26) on Monday. The company reported a 22% year-on-year revenue growth compared to Q1 FY25, with profit doubling in the same time period. CarTrade’s revenue from operations grew 22% to Rs 173 crore in Q1 FY26 in contrast to Rs 142 crore in Q1 FY25, as per the firm’s unaudited financial results sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The company’s total income for Q1 FY26 grew to Rs 199 crore, up from Rs 157 crore in Q1 FY25. The Mumbai-based company operates in three segments: Consumer, Remarketing, and Classifieds. Income from the consumer segment formed 38% of the total operating revenue which increased to Rs 66 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 51 crore in Q1 FY25. Income from the remarketing and classified segment stood at Rs 59 crore and Rs 48 crore, respectively, in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal year. On the expense front, employee benefits expenses formed 53% of the overall spending which went up a modest 6% to Rs 75 crore during the period. Including other costs, CarTrade’s overall expenses increased 8% to Rs 142 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 23 crore during Q1 FY25. The decent growth and controlled spending enabled CarTrade to double its net profit to Rs 47 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 23 crore in Q1 FY25. CarTrade’s share price is trading at Rs 1,871 (as of 10:56 AM) with a total market capitalization of Rs 8,886 crore ($1.03 billion).
