Gemini AI can now summarize what’s in your Google Drive folders - The Verge

Google Drive's AI assistant, Gemini, now offers the ability to generate summaries of entire folders in addition to summarizing individual documents. Users can select the "Summarize this folder" button to obtain a breakdown of the contents of a folder. Gemini can help users locate specific files within a folder and answer questions about it. While currently limited to text documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, and presentations, Gemini has also been shown to identify images within a folder. The folder summary feature is available to Google One AI Premium subscribers and Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, and Education Premium users.
