Google is launching Gemini 1.5, the successor to its language model, with a focus on business applications. Gemini 1.5 Pro outperforms the previous version on benchmark tests and incorporates the "Mixture of Experts" technique for faster processing. One notable feature is the enormous context window, allowing the AI model to handle larger queries and analyze more information at once. This window is 1 million tokens, compared to OpenAI's GPT-4 with 128,000 tokens. The larger context window has potential applications in various fields, such as analyzing movie reviews or financial records. Gemini 1.5 will initially be available to business users and developers. Google is actively competing with OpenAI to build the best AI tool.
