FLY91 to launch on Monday with Goa-Bengaluru flight

Regional airline FLY91 will begin operations from Mopa airport in Goa, India, with flights to Bengaluru and Hyderabad starting in March. The airline plans to connect 8-10 cities in its first year and expand to 50 cities within five years. FLY91 aims to serve both tourists and locals, distinguishing itself from other airlines that primarily cater to tourists. The airline is well-funded, having raised $25 million, and is supported by private equity firm Convergent Finance. FLY91 believes it has a cost advantage due to its fuel-efficient ATR-72 aircraft.
