The parent company of FirstCry has released its quarterly report for the last financial year ending March 2025. The report highlights moderate growth, with a 16% year-on-year growth in scale while losses surged 74%. FirstCry's revenue from operations grew to Rs 1,930 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1,667 crore in Q4 FY24, its financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange show. For the full fiscal year (FY25), BrainBees’s operating revenue increased 18% to Rs 7,660 crore in FY25 from Rs 6,481 crore in FY24. The sale of its products through offline stores and websites in India and the international market was the primary source of revenue, accounting for 69% of total operating revenue, while its subsidiary, GlobalBees, contributed Rs 398 crore income for Q4 FY25. The company also made Rs 48 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 1,979 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,685 crore in Q4 FY24. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 58% of the overall expenditure which increased 14% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 1,206 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 1055 crore in Q4 FY24. FirstCry employee benefits stood at Rs 229 crore in Q4 FY25 which includes Rs 82 crore as ESOP cost. Marketing, legal, rent, and technology expenses were key overheads that drove total expenditure up to Rs 2,060 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 1,737 crore in the same quarter last year. For the fiscal year ending March 2025, the company’s total expenses rose to Rs 7,992 crore. BrainBees’ loss surged by 74% to Rs 75 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, the firm losses stood at 215 crore in FY25, down from Rs 321 crore in FY24. (We have excluded exceptional items amounting to Rs 37 crore from the loss calculation.) BrainBees debuted on the stock exchange at Rs 446 and is now trading at 376.5 on May 26, bringing its total market capitalization to Rs 19,631 crore.

Delhivery's primary revenue sources were its logistics services, including warehousing, last-mile logistics, and designing and deploying logistics management systems. The firm also earned Rs 92 crore from non-operating activities, bringing its total revenue to Rs 2,651 crore in Q2 FY26. For Delhivery, freight handling and servicing costs made up 68% of its total expenditure, rising by 12.5% to Rs 1,843 crore in Q2 FY26. Employee benefit expenses decreased by 22% to Rs 425 crore. Legal, depreciation, and other overhead costs contributed to an 18% increase in overall expenditure, which reached Rs 2,708 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 2,294 crore in Q2 FY25. Delhivery's expenditure outpacing revenue resulted in a loss of Rs 50 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to a profit of Rs 10 crore in Q2 FY25. For the half-year, its profit decreased by 37% to Rs 40.5 crore in H1 FY26 as compared to Rs 64.5 crore in H1 FY25. At the end of the last trading session, Delhivery’s share price stood at Rs 486, giving the company a market capitalization of Rs 36,335 crore (approximately $4 billion).

Swiggy, the foodtech and quick commerce major, recorded a 54% year-on-year rise in operating revenue to Rs 5,561 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 3,601 crore in Q2 FY25. Despite the strong topline growth, the Bengaluru-based firm’s losses swelled by more than 74% in the quarter, according to its consolidated financial statements filed with the stock exchanges. Scootsy Logistics contributed the largest share, 46%, to Swiggy’s overall operating revenue. Its income grew 76% year-on-year to Rs 2,560 crore in Q2 FY26, up from Rs 1,453 crore in the same quarter last year. Swiggy’s food delivery business also grew strongly, rising 22% year-on-year to Rs 1,923 crore in Q2 FY26, and accounted for nearly 35% of the company’s total revenue during the quarter. Swiggy’s quick commerce arm, Instamart, also posted strong growth, with revenue doubling to Rs 980 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 490 crore in Q1 FY25. Swiggy’s Dine Out, Genie, Swiggy Mini and other non-operating income took its total revenue to Rs 5,620 crore in Q2 FY26. On the cost front, procurement of FMCG products for supply chain distribution accounted for 34.9% of Swiggy’s total expenses, rising 69% year-on-year to Rs 2,342 crore in Q2 FY26. Delivery expenses grew 30% to Rs 1,426 crore during the quarter. The company spent Rs 690 crore on employee benefits and Rs 1,039 crore on advertising, which surged 94% year-on-year. Depreciation and amortization expenses also increased 132% to Rs 304 crore. Overall, Swiggy’s total expenses for the quarter increased 56% to Rs 6,711 crore from Rs 4,309 crore in Q2 FY25. A 56% rise in total expenses, led by a 94% increase in advertising costs and a 132% jump in depreciation and amortization, widened Swiggy’s losses by over 74% to Rs 1,092 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 626 crore in Q2 FY25. For the first half of FY26, Swiggy reported revenue of Rs 10,522 crore, up 54% from Rs 6,824 crore in H1 FY25. However, its losses also widened by 85% to Rs 2,289 crore during the same period. Recently, Swiggy sold its stake in Rapido for Rs 1,968 crore to Prosus-owned MIH Investments One B.V. and Rs 431.5 crore to Setu AIF Trust and WestBridge, netting Rs 2,399.5 crore in total and earning over 2.5x returns on an investment made less than four years ago.

The sale of its products through offline stores and websites in India and the international market was the primary source of revenue, accounting for nearly 77% of total operating revenue, while its subsidiary, GlobalBees, contributed Rs 493 crore. The company also made Rs 38 crore from interest income which took its overall revenue to Rs 2,137 crore in Q2 FY26, compared to Rs 1,936 crore in Q2 FY25. For the omnichannel retailer, the cost of procurement of materials accounted for 61% of the overall expenditure which increased 11% year-on-year to Rs 1,329 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 1,194 crore in Q2 FY25. FirstCry’s employee benefits stood at Rs 203 crore in Q2 FY26 which includes Rs 59 crore as ESOP cost. The marketing, legal, rent, and technology were other overheads that pushed the overall expenditure to Rs 2,175 crore in Q2 FY26. The decent scale and controlled expenditure helped FirstCry to reduce its losses by 20% to Rs 50.5 crore in Q2 FY26. Notably, the company reported a positive EBITDA of Rs 111 crore. For the six months ended September 2025, the company’s loss decreased by 15% to Rs 117 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 138 in H1 FY25. At the end of today’s trading session, FirstCry’s share price stood at Rs 335 per share, with a total market capitalization of Rs 17,503 crore (approximately $1.9 billion).

Unicommerce operates in the e-commerce enablement SaaS sector, providing integrated solutions for order and inventory management, returns, omnichannel operations, and more. Including other undisclosed income, Unicommerce’s total income for Q2 FY26 stood at Rs 52.23 crore. On a half-year basis, its operating revenue surged nearly 70% to Rs 96.3 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 56.77 crore in H1 FY25. On the expense side, employee benefits and server hosting costs rose slightly to Rs 16.93 crore and Rs 1.35 crore, respectively, in Q2 FY26, while depreciation and amortization increased to Rs 2 crore. Overall, Unicommerce’s total expenses for the quarter increased 81% to Rs 44.44 crore from Rs 24.58 crore in Q2 FY25. By the end of Q2 FY26, the firm posted a 28% year-on-year increase in profit to Rs 5.78 crore, up from Rs 4.47 crore in Q2 FY25. On a unit basis, the company spent Re 0.86 to earn one rupee of operating revenue. At the end of today’s trading session, Unicommerce’s share price closed at Rs 129, giving it a total market capitalization of Rs 1,436.57 crore (about $163 million).

Hotel packages accounted for 27% of total revenue, generating Rs 32 crore. Including other undisclosed income, its total income for Q2 FY26 stood at Rs 126 crore, compared to Rs 150 crore in Q2 FY25. According to the disclosure, the company’s revenue decreased by 22% to Rs 232 Cr in H1 FY26 from Rs 297 Cr in H1 FY25. EaseMyTrip’s total expenses rose 6% to Rs 120 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 113 crore in Q2 FY25. Employee benefit accounted for 26% of the total, increasing 24% to Rs 31 crore in Q2 FY26. Payment gateway charges, service costs, and advertising were other major costs for EaseMyTrip in the last quarter. With the dip in revenue and expense increasing, the company slipped into losses of Rs 36 crore in Q2 FY26 as compared to a profit of Rs 27 crore in Q2 FY25. On a unit basis, the Delhi-based company spent Rs 1.02 to earn a rupee of operating revenue during the last quarter. The company also announced the change of its senior officials in which Mr. Sankalp Kaul was appointed as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Company replacing Mr. Naimish Sinha and Mr. Manmeet Ahluwalia was appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of the Company. EaseMyTrip's board has approved the issuance of 55.93 crore fully paid-up equity shares worth Rs 514.06 crore on a preferential basis. The shares will be allotted to seven non-promoter investors including Ashish Begwani, Sunil Jain, Dhankalash Distributors, Divyank Singhal, Levo Beauty, SSL Nirvana Grand Golf Developers, and Javaphile Hospitality.

The flight gross transaction value grew by 43% YoY, while the bus GTV increased by 46%. The company’s contribution margin also improved by 24% to Rs 91.08 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to Rs 73.67 crore in Q2 FY24, the company said in a stock exchange filing. However, the contribution margin as a percentage of revenue from operations slightly decreased from 45% in Q2 FY24 to 44% in Q2 FY25. The Gurugram-based company generated the majority (53.5%) of its operating revenue from train ticketing amounting to Rs 110.4 crore in Q1 FY25. Flight and bus booking services contributed 27% and 19.3% to the company’s coffers, respectively. The firm’s operating expenses rose in Q2 FY25, reflecting increased investments in growth. Employee expenses and marketing costs contributed to this spike, which was necessary to support the company’s expansion in user acquisition and market penetration. Despite the rise in costs, EBITDA saw a sharp increase of 655%, reaching Rs 22.4 crore in Q2 FY25, compared to Rs 2.96 crore in Q2 FY24. Adjusted EBITDA also jumped 326% to Rs 20.99 crore in Q2 FY25. Ixigo profit after tax (PAT) declined by 51%, from Rs 26.70 crore in Q2 FY24 to Rs 13.08 crore in Q2 FY25. This decline was primarily due to a deferred tax charge of Rs 5.26 crore in Q2 FY25.

However, its losses widened as expenses surged, led by higher material and marketing costs. The company’s operating revenue grew 34% to Rs 83 crore in FY25 from Rs 62 crore in FY24, according to its financial statements filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Uppercase primarily sells eco-friendly trolleys, backpacks, and duffel bags which accounted for 98% of the operating revenue. The company also earned Rs 2 crore through gains from the sale of other investments and interest on bank deposits, bringing uppercase’s total income to Rs 85 crore in FY25. Examining expenses, the company’s largest cost component, cost of materials, rose 36% to Rs 45 crore, accounting for nearly 38% of total expenditure. Marketing expenses also grew sharply by 44% to Rs 23 crore, forming 19% of the total. Employee benefit costs increased 43% to Rs 20 crore, while selling and distribution expenses rose 56% to Rs 14 crore. Spending on outward and logistics went up 17% to Rs 7 crore. Overall, total costs jumped 45% to Rs 120 crore in FY25 as compared to Rs 83 crore in the previous year. With Uppercase’s expense outpacing revenue growth, its losses doubled to Rs 35 crore in FY25 from Rs 17.5 crore in FY24. The company’s EBITDA margin deteriorated to -43.01% from -31.10% during the period. While its ROCE stood at -63.68%, a slight improvement over -67.03% in the previous year. On a unit level, the company spent Rs 1.45 to earn a rupee of revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 1.34 in FY24. Uppercase’s current assets rose to Rs 92 crore, including Rs 4 crore in cash and bank balances and inventory nearing Rs 10 crore in the same period. According to TheKredible, Uppercase has raised a total of $17.5 million of funding till date, having Sixth Sense Ventures and Volrado Ventures as its lead investors which owns 26% and 16% of the company respectively. The jump in selling expenses, including advertising is no surprise, considering the competitive intensity Uppercase faces across its segments.

The Gurugram-based company recorded a 26% year-on-year increase in its revenue while its profits increased by 12% during the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal year Q2 FY26. TBO’s operating revenue increased by 26% to Rs 567 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 450 crore in Q2 FY25, its unaudited financial statements sourced from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) show. Income from booking of hotels and packages accounted for 84% of TBO’s revenue which increased 34% year-on-year to Rs 479 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 357 crore in Q2 FY25. Meanwhile, income from air ticketing and other allied services brought Rs 78 crore and other income sources added Rs 10 crore to the firm’s topline. Since hotels and packages were the largest revenue source, the service fees associated with them naturally became the biggest cost center, accounting for 40% of the total expenditure, which amounted to Rs 204 crore in Q2 FY26. Its employee benefits stood at Rs 108 crore in the last quarter. Overall, the total cost was up by 28% to Rs 504 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 394 crore in Q2 FY25. TBO Tek posted a 12% increase in its profits to Rs 67.5 crore in Q2 FY26 from Rs 60 crore in Q2 FY25. On a half-yearly basis, the company’s profit increased 8% to Rs 130.5 crore in H1 FY26 from Rs 121 crore in H1 FY25. TBO Tek’s stock is trading at Rs 1,497 with a total market capitalization of Rs 16,261 crore. TBO recently announced that its step-down subsidiary TBO LLC acquired Classic Vacations LLC, a US-based luxury travel company, for up to $125 million in an all-cash deal.
