Deep-tech startup Enlog has elevated Ayush Gupta, its chief technology officer (CTO), to co-founder of the company. Ayush Gupta joined Enlog in 2023, bringing over five years of experience in technology and having previously served as Vice President of Technology at a hyper-local e-commerce startup. According to Enlog, Gupta’s expertise in building scalable tech ecosystems and developing self-managed, IoT-based energy optimization solutions has laid the foundation for Enlog’s growth and market leadership. Under his leadership, the company has built a robust infrastructure capable of scaling to 10 million IoT devices, handling billions of data logs, and delivering measurable energy efficiency benefits to its users. Enlog has recently awarded Rs 1 crore in ESOPs to its core tech team. As part of its growth journey, the startup is actively expanding its team across both tech and non-tech domains. The company has introduced this initiative to focus on attracting top talent to drive innovation and strengthen its position in the energy management space. Co-founded in 2019 by Bharath Rnkawat and Jharna Saha, Enlog specializes in IoT and AI-powered energy solutions that optimize electricity consumption and reduce carbon footprints. With over 19,000 MWh of electricity managed, 4,064 tons of CO2 emissions reduced, and a user base of over 20,000, Enlog aspires to reduce carbon emissions by one million tons by 2027. In November last year, Enlog raised Rs 1.75 crore led by Vinners.

Edtech company Unacademy is undergoing several high-level appointments. In the latest development, Arooshi Singh has been promoted from Director of People Experience and Culture to Chief People Officer at the Bengaluru-based firm. “I’m thrilled to share that Arooshi Singh, who has been with us for over seven incredible years, is being promoted to Head of HR,” said Gaurav Munjal, CEO and co-founder of Unacademy, in a Slack message to employees on Monday, as reviewed by Entrackr. Singh will replace Sandhydeep Purri, who was appointed as Chief People Officer of the SoftBank-backed company in November 2023. Arooshi led multiple functions across HR functions at Unacademy. She joined the company as a junior staff member for employee wellness. This marks the third promotion announced by the Munjal-led company in 2024. In January, Jagnoor Singh was elevated to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Unacademy Centres, and last month, Abhishek Pipara was promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the offline business. In the past year, Unacademy has also seen several senior leadership exits, including a co-founder. In August 2023, Chief Operating Officer Vivek Sinha resigned, followed by Group CFO Subramanian Ramachandran in October, and co-founder and CTO Hemesh Singh in June. Last month, Unacademy also disclosed its financial numbers for the fiscal year ending March 2024. While the company’s revenue remained flat for the said fiscal year with Rs 988 crore, it managed to reduce its losses by a whopping 62%.

ProcMart elevates Sachin Jain to co-founder ProcMart, a B2B marketplace for indirect procurement, has appointed Sachin Jain as co-founder. Sachin Jain joined ProcMart in March 2024 as CFO and CSO, playing a key role in business expansion, financial systems enhancement, and sustainability initiatives, including the acquisition of a green packaging facility in Aurangabad. Before joining ProcMart, Sachin Jain served as the CFO at Mahle Anand Filter Systems, where he managed finance, tax, and IT operations. He also held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at the Anand Group. As co-founder, he will work alongside founder & CEO Anish Popli to drive growth, strengthen customer relationships, and scale operations across supply chain, product development, and finance. Founded in 2015, ProcMart provides supply chain solutions and infrastructure to businesses including services such as purchase order management, contract administration, master data management, e-catalog management, and market intelligence. The company has raised $43 million to date, including a $30 million Series B round led by the Fundamentum Partnership and Edelweiss Discovery Fund. Its existing investors also include IndiaMART. ProcMart’s gross revenue shot up over 200% to Rs 621.5 crore in FY24 when compared to Rs 206.07 crore in FY23. The company remained profitable during FY24.

Community management app MyGate has announced senior management changes as it elevated co-founder Abhishek Kumar, who was previously the chief operating officer, to the position of chief executive. Meanwhile, co-founder Vijay Arisetty, who previously served as the chief executive, has now taken the role of chairman of the board. According to the company, Arisetty will guide the team on the firm’s strategic direction and continue to mentor the leadership team. Co-founder and chief technology officer Shreyans Daga will now have an expanded role overseeing product, technology, and new business initiatives. Founded in 2016 by Kumar, Arisetty and Daga, the company had raised Rs 100 crore ($13 million) in a funding round co-led by Urban Company and Acko in 2022. Entrackr exclusively reported the development. Last month, the firm announced employees stock buyback program for more than 50 employees. The buyback came on the back of improved financial results for the Bengaluru-based company in the last and current fiscal year. Additionally, Rohit Jindal, who has been with the company since 2017, has been elevated to the role of chief business officer. MyGate recently claimed that its revenue crossed Rs 100 crore in FY23, a 35% increase from the previous fiscal. The company’s investors include Tencent, Tiger Global, and Xto10X, among others.

Recently, CoinDCX has acquired BitOasis as they are planning to enter into the Middle East and North African market. Launched in 2018 by Sumit Gupta, CoinDCX is a cryptocurrency trading platform designed to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions. The company’s platform allows customers to trade multiple cryptocurrencies legally and withdraw funds to their bank account.
