Elon Musk's social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), has introduced a new feature called 'Stories' that provides users with AI-powered summaries of trending posts. The feature is currently only available to X Premium subscribers on iOS and web, with Android availability coming soon. The summaries, generated by Grok AI, allow users to quickly grasp the main points of popular stories without reading the entire post. However, X advises users to verify the information, as the AI can make mistakes. Other platforms have also embraced AI-generated summaries, with Microsoft's Bing and an AI news summary service called Particle being notable examples.
