Elev8 Venture leads $14 mn funding in online astrology platform AstroTalk

Indian online astrology platform AstroTalk has raised $14m in another funding round led by Elev8 Venture Partners. Proceeds from the round, a combination of primary and secondary investments, will be used to launch new apps and expand geographically. AstroTalk, which operates as an online marketplace connecting consumers with astrologers, plans to expand its offerings in regional languages and formats. The company had a pre-money valuation of INR2.4bn ($288m) in the latest funding round.
