Edge AI startup Edgehax raises Rs 1.39 Cr in Seed round led by IPV Edgehax, a full-stack Edge AI hardware platform, has raised Rs 1.39 crore in a Seed round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The fresh funds will be deployed to scale up manufacturing, accelerate new product development, and expand market access across India and international markets including Singapore, the US, and Europe. Founded in 2025 by Prabhu Stavarmath and Savitri Patil, Edgehax builds modular Edge AI computing platforms that combine compute, connectivity, and storage on a single board. Its hardware has already found applications in industrial gateways, humanoid robots, autonomous vehicles, drones, defense systems, and NavIC-based tracking solutions. The startup has already partnered with over 150 startups, OEMs, and large enterprises, and has enabled 100,000 students and faculty across 30 universities and IITs through its developer kits. The brand claims to have already shipped over 5,000 edge gateway boards and plans to roll out 10,000 compute modules for consumer appliances by December 2025. Edgehax operates in a domain similar to global players such as Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, Google Coral, and Qualcomm’s AI boards.

Pontaq Ventures has invested Rs 5.5 crore (around $660K) in two Indian deeptech startups, Dweepi and Edgehax. The capital will support product development, tech expansion, and enterprise deployment as both companies scale in India and global markets. This marks Pontaq’s second round of investment in both startups. Headquartered in Chennai, Pontaq has backed more than 190 startups, including over 140 DeepTech ventures across India and the UK. The firm invests in AI, IoT, edge computing, robotics, enterprise automation, and other frontier technologies while offering portfolio companies market access and strategic support across cross-border corridors. Dweepi builds robotic track-inspection systems for railways. Its platform uses automation and AI to scan tracks and support predictive maintenance workflows for safety-critical infrastructure operators. Edgehax develops Edge AI computing platforms that integrate compute, connectivity, and storage into modular systems. The company works with enterprises to power real-time automation, AI workloads, and distributed intelligence at the edge. The investment will be used by Dweepi and Edgehax to strengthen engineering teams, expand deployments, and enhance technology stacks to target broader enterprise adoption. Pontaq operates across the UK–India corridor with additional exposure to the US and Canada. The fund backs companies across clean tech, health tech, fintech, and deep tech, and provides access to global markets along with hands-on operational guidance.

The Gurugram-based company claims to have 100 distribution-led organizations and a network of 6 million channel partners, including retailers, dealers, and professionals such as drivers, painters, and mechanics. Almonds Ai asserts that its AI-powered platform will play a crucial role in optimizing sales channels, improving partner engagement, and driving customer retention across sectors.
