Pinky Promise, an AI-led digital clinic for women, has raised $1 million in a pre-seed funding round led by the Rebalance Angel Community, with participation from Subramanian Ramadorai, Mala Ramadorai, Ajay Nair, Shreyas Srinivasan, and others. The fresh capital will be used to accelerate integrated offerings, support the rollout of physical clinics, and expand a range of clinically backed nutritional supplements, enabling continuity of care at a national scale, Pinky Promise said in a press release. Co-founded in 2020 by Divya Kamerkar and Akanksha Vyas, Pinky Promise is an AI-enabled women’s digital clinic that offers chat-first gynecological care through a mobile app. Available 24x7 in Hinglish and English, the platform enables women to consult qualified gynecologists, receive prescriptions, and access ongoing care at an affordable starting price of Rs 99. According to the Mumbai-based startup, the platform is designed to instantly and reliably diagnose and manage women’s health issues. It addresses a critical gap in Indian healthcare for accessible, non-judgmental, and high-quality sexual and reproductive health care. The app combines advanced AI with expert gynecologist oversight to provide women with confidential, instant, and affordable care, enabling them to address concerns at any stage of life or need. Through the app, women can access care 24x7, chat instantly with an experienced gynecologist, and receive prescriptions and guidance within minutes. This model is powered by custom AI systems that work closely with qualified gynecologists. Pinky Promise claims to have delivered gynecological care to over 350,000 women across more than 320 symptoms and conditions, ranging from period-related issues and UTIs to fertility, pregnancy, PCOS, and more. The startup has 40,000 paying customers across every district in India. The company reports a 97.4% three-month customer retention rate, underscoring strong product-market fit and sustained patient trust.
