Avanse Financial Services, a leading non-banking financial company (NBFC) in the student credits market, has filed a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for its initial public offering (IPO). The company aims to raise INR 3,500 Cr through the IPO, with INR 1,000 Cr as a fresh issue and INR 2,500 Cr as an offer for sale component. Avanse focuses on education loans, particularly for foreign schools, and is expected to benefit from the growing demand for educational loans and potential interest rate cuts. The company has received investments from Kedaara Capital, Warburg Pincus, Mubadala Investment Company, and Avendus.
