Data governance platform Atlan has raised $105 million in a Series C funding round led by GIC and Meritech Capital. Existing investors Salesforce Ventures and Peak XV Partners also participated. With this funding, Atlan plans to scale its product and engineering capabilities, invest in its Indian workforce, and improve customer service, sales, and marketing. The platform addresses the need for AI-ready data by providing a control plane and collaboration layer on top of a business's data infrastructure, enabling data teams to find, trust, and govern AI-ready data. Atlan has achieved significant revenue growth and serves notable clients like Cisco, Unilever, and News Corp.
