Darwinbox elevates CTO Vineet Singh as co-founder

HRtech platform Darwinbox has announced the elevation of Vineet Singh, its chief technology officer (CTO), to the position of co-founder. Vineet spent the early years of his career as an engineer building products in both consumer and SaaS tech prior to joining Darwinbox. “He has scaled the platform into a full-fledged HCM suite with 15 modules in just 6 years which is faster than any other enterprise HR tech. He was the first one to join our team back in 2015 and has successfully scaled our engineering and R&D teams into the 400-member strong unit that it is today,” said Chaitanya Peddi, co-founder of Darwinbox. Founded by Jayant Paleti, Rohit Chennamaneni and Chaitanya Peddi, Darwinbox is a cloud-based integrated HR technology product that covers solutions including recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, talent management, and people analytics across the employee life cycle. Last year, the company collaborated with Microsoft to develop solutions that integrate Darwinbox’s HCM platform with Microsoft’s ecosystem, focusing on co-innovating to enhance employee experience. The Hyderabad-based company expanded to countries like Indonesia, Singapore and Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. It counts Southeast Asia and India as the highest contributors towards its revenue and it also opened new offices in West Asia, Saudi Arabia, UAE and the US. According to data intelligence platform, The Kredible, Darwinbox’s revenue from operations surged 91.5% to Rs 224 crore in the fiscal year ending March 2023 from Rs 117 crore in FY22. Earlier this month, Gramophone elevated its long-term company executive Navneet Singh Batra to the position of co-founder. Last month, crypto exchange CoinDCX elevated Mridul Gupta as its founding partner.
