CISA confirms it was breached by attackers using Ivanti flaws, some systems taken offline

The US government's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) was among the organizations affected by a vulnerability in Ivanti products. CISA confirmed the breach and stated that it had identified the exploitation of vulnerabilities in Ivanti products. Two systems, including the Infrastructure Protection Gateway and the Chemical Security Assessment Tool, were turned off after being breached. These systems contain critical information about the interdependency of US infrastructure and private sector chemical security plans. The extent of the breach and the stolen data, if any, remain unknown. The identity of the attackers is also undisclosed. Ivanti previously addressed critical vulnerabilities in its Endpoint Management Software.
