Gyan Vardhan 11 Nov 2025 17:20 IST Follow UsNew UpdateThe Cadabams Group, a leading mental healthcare institution, has invested $7.3 million (Rs 65 crore) in MindTalk, its recently launched digital mental health platform aimed at becoming a deep-tech agent for mental wellness.With this move, Cadabams is combining over three decades of clinical expertise with advanced deep-tech, marking one of the most significant technology-led expansions in India’s mental health space.The funds will be deployed over the next 12 to 18 months to enhance MindTalk’s deep learning capabilities, strengthen its AI infrastructure, and accelerate clinical research integration, the company said in a press release.MindTalk’s deep agent model integrates large language models (LLMs), conversational AI, and adaptive learning systems trained under the supervision of experienced clinicians. Unlike generic AI wellness tools or self-help chatbots, it delivers clinically grounded, evidence-based guidance aligned with professional mental healthcare protocols.“With MindTalk, we are building a clinically intelligent digital companion that can bring structured mental healthcare to anyone with a smartphone, without losing the rigor and empathy of real-world therapy,” said Sandesh Cadabam, Executive Director, Cadabams Group.Cadabams Hospitals provides psychiatric, psychological, and rehabilitative care through a network of 42 centres across India and the Maldives. The group claims to have treated over 275,000 patients to date and plans to scale up to 150–160 centres with 3,500 beds in the coming years. This expansion will be complemented by technology-driven platforms like MindTalk to broaden access to mental healthcare.

The proceeds will be utilized to expand its reach and elevate offerings, improve the platform's features and functionality, broaden its activities, and enter new markets, GoodLives said in a press release. Co-founded in 2022 by Sakshi Shah and Lawrance Bamania, GoodLives is an AI-driven mental health and wellness platform that aims to make mental health support accessible, impactful, and personalized. The platform bridges the gap between professional therapy and everyday well-being through a unique blend of AI-powered DIY exercises and expert-led interventions. According to the Gurugram-based company, with the help of AI-powered do-it-yourself workouts and expert therapy, the platform offers individualized and effective holistic health solutions. It aims to focus on large and mid-sized corporations and aspires to enhance employee engagement and well-being through tailored programs. GoodLives says it has already raised awareness of mental health issues among more than 5 million people. Notably, the business has started a LinkedIn campaign to de-stigmatize discussions around mental health and claims to have received significant praise for its creative awareness-raising strategy.

With this acquisition, LISSUN gains full ownership of Being’s technology and team, combining therapist-led expertise with AI-powered hyper-personalized care capable of decoding over 40 emotional and behavioural conditions, including autism, ADHD, speech delays, and learning challenges. Being’s founders, Varun Gandhi (CEO) and Abhishek Sharma (CTO), have joined LISSUN as Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, respectively. Being Cares Inc is a US-based mental health startup that provides AI-powered tools to map and address over 40 emotional and behavioral conditions. The platform uses data on real-world causes and effects to give personalized mental health guidance and has served nearly one million users globally. The integration aims to merge LISSUN’s clinical interventions with Being’s intelligent mental health mapping, which processes over 2,500 causes and real-world effects to deliver highly tailored guidance for parents and children. With Sunshine by LISSUN centres already addressing child development needs, this move positions LISSUN as a full-spectrum care provider, offering both digital guidance and in-person therapy through its growing phygital network. LISSUN plans to scale its Sunshine centres from 20 to over 200 in the next 2–4 years while expanding AI-led support via its virtual assistant, Ray, to millions of parents on platforms like WhatsApp. By combining real-time developmental insights, personalized therapy activities, and milestone tracking, the platform aims to deliver end-to-end mental health solutions across home, school, and clinical settings.

Everbright Health, a managed services platform for mental health providers, has raised $7 million in a seed funding round led by W Health Ventures and Sanos Capital. The proceeds will be used to expand its technology capabilities, accelerate market growth in the US, and introduce similar operational models for other advanced therapies. Everbright provides end-to-end support to providers through an AI-powered operations platform that identifies eligible patients, handles authorizations, manages billing, ensures compliance, and oversees treatment delivery. The company operates an asset-light model, partnering with clinicians instead of competing with them. The firm helps psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists integrate advanced interventions into regular mental health care. These include FDA-approved treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and SPRAVATO, which are covered by insurance but often remain inaccessible due to a lack of infrastructure in clinics. The platform combines technology and operational teams across the US and India to streamline key clinical and administrative workflows. Within three months of launch, Everbright has signed contracts with more than 75 behavioral health providers across seven US markets.
