Brazil court asks X for documents as the platform starts to comply with orders

The Brazilian Supreme Court has requested that Elon Musk's social platform, X, provide documents confirming its new legal representative in the country. X had been shut down in Brazil for not complying with court orders related to hate speech moderation. However, the platform's lawyers recently announced that X will now meet court demands to resume operations in Brazil. They stated that X had appointed a legal representative in Brazil, a requirement for foreign companies operating in the country. X now has five days to provide the necessary documents to validate its legal representative. The platform also faces fines and the requirement to block certain accounts as conditions for the ban to be lifted.
