Bhavish Aggarwal says outages can be ‘deliberate’; 80% of India's data abroad

A flawed software update from a cybersecurity company caused widespread computer outages, resulting in the Blue Screen of Death error for Windows users. Aggarwal pointed out the risk posed by storing data abroad, urging the Indian government to focus on data localization to address this risk. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also addressed the issue, stating they are working with CrowdStrike to resolve the problem.
