Bevel, a New York–based AI health startup, raised $10M Series A from General Catalyst to expand its AI health companion app, which unifies data from wearables and habits across sleep, fitness, and nutrition. Unlike hardware-heavy rivals like Whoop or Oura, Bevel is purely software-based and integrates with Apple Health, Dexcom, and other trackers. Founded in 2023 by Grey Nguyen and Ben Yang, the app has grown eightfold to 100K+ daily active users with 80% retention at 90 days. Backed by Aditya Agarwal (ex-Dropbox CTO), Bevel aims to democratize proactive health through intelligence and accessibility, helping users make small, data-driven lifestyle improvements that compound over time.
