According to a survey by LocalCircles, the majority of drone deployments in the coming years will be in areas such as border surveillance, disaster monitoring, and farming. Only 23% of respondents believe that drones will be used for deliveries of e-commerce, food, and medicines. Furthermore, only 6% of respondents are willing to pay extra for drone deliveries, with 87% stating that they wouldn't want to pay anything extra. The survey also revealed that 91% of respondents expect drone deployments to be driven by surveillance and border security, while 80% see disaster monitoring and relief as important use cases.
