Co-working solutions provider Awfis filed its first quarterly results after going IPO. The Delhi based company witnessed 10.9% revenue growth with the profits spiking 102.9% during the same period. Awfis’ revenue increased to Rs 258 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 232 crore in Q4 FY24, as per its unaudited consolidated financial statements filed with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Income from renting of co-working space and allied services contributed 72% of the firm’s total operating revenue while construction and fit-out projects contributed 26% . On a sequential basis, its operating revenue increased by 37.31% from Rs 187.7 crore in Q1 FY24. Awfis’ total expense increased by 10.57% to Rs 265.08 crore in Q1 FY25 from Rs 239.79 crore in Q4 FY24. Subcontracting cost and purchase of traded goods accounted for 24% of the total expense. Employee benefit, depreciation and amortization and finance costs were some other major expenses for the 10-year-old company. The consistent growth in scale helped Awfis to double its profit which stood at Rs 2.78 crore in Q1 FY25 as compared to Rs 1.37 crore in Q4 FY24. For context, Awfis posted a loss of Rs 8.3 crore in Q1 FY24. Awfis is currently trading at Rs 669.7 (as at the end of August 13) with the market capitalization of Rs 4648 crore (approximately $560 million).

Revenue from co-working spaces remained the largest segment, growing 49% to Rs 276 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 185 crore in Q1 FY25. The construction and fit-out projects segment brought in Rs 58 crore, while other services contributed Rs 1 crore to the overall revenue in Q1 FY26. On the expense side, depreciation was the largest burn, standing at Rs 86 crore, whereas employee benefits expenses decreased to Rs 30 crore. Subcontracting expenses fell 15% YoY to Rs 47 crore. Finance costs amounted to Rs 46 crore, which pushed the firm’s total cost to Rs 343 crore in the previous quarter. Due to steady growth and controlled expenses, Awfis’ profit surged 3.5X to Rs 10 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 2.8 crore in Q1 FY25. Awfis has allotted 136,777 Employee Stock Options, currently valued at Rs 7.6 crore, as part of its 2024 Employee Stock Option Scheme. Awfis’ stock is trading at Rs 557 with a total market capitalization of Rs 3,971 crore (approximately $453 million).

Other income contributed an additional Rs 9.56 crore which drove its total income of Rs 301.95 crore for the quarter. On a quarterly basis, the firm's revenue jumped 13.46% from Rs 258 crore in Q1 FY25. Founded in 2015, Awfis provides office spaces for startups, SMEs, and large corporations, along with services such as food and beverages, IT support, and infrastructure solutions. Revenue from co-working spaces remained the largest segment that grew 43.1% to Rs 218.31 crore in Q2 FY25 from Rs 152.56 crore in Q2 FY24. With an exceptional item income of Rs 24 crore, Awfis posted a profit after tax of Rs 38.67 crore. Awfis’ stock was listed on the NSE on May 30, opening at Rs 435 with a 13.58% premium over the issue price of Rs 383. Before Monday’s market closure, the company’s shares were trading at Rs 776.

The Gurugram-based company generated the largest share (88%) of its operating revenue from insurance broker services, which rose to Rs 1,187 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 845 crore in Q1 FY25. Besides operating revenue, the firm also earned Rs 99 crore via interest and gains from financial assets during the quarter which took its total topline to Rs 1,447 crore in the quarter ending June 2025. PolicyBazaar's net profits surged 42% to Rs 85 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 60 crore in Q1 FY25. At the end of the day, PolicyBazaar traded at Rs 1,808 with a total market capitalization of Rs 83,033 crore (approximately $9.5 billion).

The company added Rs 24 crore from non-operating activities which tallied its overall revenue to Rs 619 crore in Q1 FY26. For the D2C brand, the cost of procurement of products accounted for 30% of the overall expenditure. This cost increased by 9% to Rs 171 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 157 crore in Q1 FY25. The company’s spending on employee benefits, marketing, legal, rent, and other overheads drove an 8% year-on-year rise in total expenditure to Rs 563 crore in Q1 FY26 from Rs 520 crore in Q1 FY25. The company reported a profit after tax of Rs 41.3 crore in Q1 FY26, 5% up from Rs 40.2 crore in Q1 FY25. On a unit basis, the company spent Re 0.95 to earn a Rupee of operating revenue with EBITDA of Rs 55 in Q1 FY26. Blackbuck’s net profit increased 17% to Rs 34 crore in Q1 FY26, as compared to Rs 29 crore in Q1 FY25. Info Edge’s profit grew by 32% to Rs 343 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to Rs 259 crore in Q1 FY25. Its EBITDA stood at Rs 468 crore in the same period. As of 2:22 PM (Friday, August 8), Info Edge is trading at Rs 1,333.5, down 2% from today’s opening price. The firm’s market capitalization stands at Rs 86,277 crore ($9.8 billion).
