Australia is continuing to strengthen its education ties with India. A 35-member Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) and edtech delegation representing 24 companies is in New Delhi for a week to explore opportunities for partnership with Indiaโ€™s education and skilling sectors. The delegation includes Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), TAFEs, non-university higher education providers, audio/visual system providers, and education management organisations. It will showcase its offerings under the Australia Pavilion at the Didac India 2025 event in New Delhi from 18โ€“20 November 2025. The participation is coordinated by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in partnership with Global Victoria, Investment New South Wales, and Trade and Investment Queensland. During the visit, the Australian delegation will meet Indian government agencies, industry bodies, and education stakeholders across schools and institutions. The delegation will explore opportunities to collaborate on curriculum design, technology integration, and pathways for continuous learning. โ€œAustralia will be a natural partner for India in building human capital for the future. By organising the delegation visit, we reaffirm our commitment by connecting Australian institutions and training providers to further strengthen Australiaโ€“India collaboration in skills development,โ€ said Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Austrade. The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is the Australian Governmentโ€™s international trade promotion and investment attraction agency. It provides trade and investment services to businesses to support their growth. The organisation offers market information and insights, promotes Australian capabilities, and facilitates connections through its global network.
