AstroTalk posts Rs 283 Cr revenue in FY23; remains profitable

Online astrology platform AstroTalk has reported a significant growth of 2.4 times year-on-year in revenue and achieved profitability during the fiscal year ending in March 2023. With revenue from operations reaching Rs 283 crore in FY23, the platform connects users with over 13,000 astrologers, tarot readers, numerologists, and Vastu experts for consultations on various aspects of life. AstroTalk's services are primarily delivered through chat and phone calls, with 65% of consultations conducted via chat. The company also expanded its operations to international markets, generating around 17% of its revenue from outside India. Furthermore, AstroTalk is in talks to raise $25-30 million, aiming for a valuation of $220-$250 million.
