- Apple is planning to release the fourth-generation iPhone SE in spring 2025, according to a report from Macrumors. - The new iPhone SE is expected to feature a larger 6.1-inch OLED display, moving away from the current 4.7-inch LCD screen. - The device will likely be powered by the A18 chip, the same processor found in the latest iPhone 16 series. - The Touch ID sensor is rumored to be replaced by Face ID, eliminating the physical Home button on the iPhone SE 4. - Other anticipated upgrades include a USB-C charging port, the introduction of the Action button, an in-house 5G modem, and a 48MP rear camera. - The RAM is expected to double to 8GB, allowing the iPhone SE 4 to support Apple Intelligence features.
