The company recently appointed Samir Kumar as the new country manager for India, following allegations of predatory pricing and deep discounts, which Singh refuted, stating that sellers determine product pricing on the marketplace. Singh emphasized that Amazon's strategy is focused on customer experience and strengthening its network and infrastructure, rather than being shaped by competition.
