Agritech startup BharatRohan raises $2.3M in funding led by Venture Garage, RevX, others
Agritech startup BharatRohan has raised $2.3 million in a pre-IPO funding round led by Venture Garage, RevX, Caspian, and Villgro Innovation Foundation. The funds will be used to develop proprietary edge computing drones for crop monitoring and pesticide application. BharatRohan plans to offer these drones through franchise-based models to rural entrepreneurs. The company also aims to design compact hyperspectral and multispectral sensors for drones. Founders have expressed their commitment to expanding services and making farming more scientific and sustainable. The startup currently supports 50,000 farmers and plans to expand to cover 10 lakh acres by 2025.
