Adobe adds Firefly generative AI features to new Express mobile app

Adobe has launched a beta version of its new Adobe Express app for iOS and Android, allowing users to easily create social media posts, posters, and website banners. Users can access and edit Photoshop and Illustrator files directly within the mobile app. While the beta version is free to download, premium features, including erase and remove background tools, will eventually require a monthly subscription. The app also offers advanced Firefly-powered generative AI features, such as Generative Fill and Text to Image effects, which require Adobe's generative credits. The new Express mobile app will support collaborative workflows and seamless migration of existing projects from the current mobile app when it leaves beta.
