Accenture acquires TalentSprint from NSE Academy Accenture has acquired deep tech education company TalentSprint from NSE Academy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Stock Exchange of India Limited. The acquisition will bolster Accenture LearnVantage’s ability to drive growth through key university certifications and high impact bootcamps, creating trained talent pools for enterprises and governments, Accenture said in a press release. Launched in 2008 by Santanu Paul, J Chowdary, and Madhu Murty, TalentSprint offers certification programs in emerging and deep technologies to aspiring and experienced professionals using a hybrid online/onsite model. Coding bootcamps, AI and data sciences, fintech, blockchains, cyber security, and digital health are some of their recommended programs. According to Accenture, this acquisition will strengthen LearnVantage’s capabilities to help organisations reshape their workforce through upskilling, reskilling, and preparing them for an AI-powered world. TalentSprint’s team of approximately 210 professionals will join Accenture LearnVantage. Over the past 15 years, TalentSprint has formed collaborations with academic institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), International Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and globally-renowned research institutions. Accenture states that TalentSprint’s end-to-end delivery capabilities of focused learning programmes provide a competitive value proposition for learners and enterprises alike, making it a great fit for its expanding LearnVantage business. “The addition of TalentSprint further boosts our ability to meet our clients' demand for training, helping their people gain the essential technology skills in emerging areas needed to reinvent their organisations and achieve greater business value,” said Kishore Durg, global lead of Accenture LearnVantage. TalentSprint's revenue from operations surged 40.8% to Rs 100 crore in FY23 from Rs 71 crore in FY22. The company has yet to file its FY24 and FY25 numbers.

This acquisition follows Accenture's recent acquisition of semiconductor design services provider Excelmax Technologies. Cientra, founded in 2015, has offices in the US, Germany, and India, and specializes in engineering, development, and testing for industries such as automotive, telecommunications, and high-tech. This acquisition will enhance Accenture's silicon design capabilities and enable them to better assist clients with semiconductor innovation. Cientra brings approximately 530 engineers and practitioners to Accenture. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Red Health acquires majority stake in TACT Academy Ambulance service provider Red.Health (formerly StanPlus) has acquired a majority stake in TACT Academy for Clinical Training. According to RED Health, this acquisition aims to create a global center of excellence in the allied healthcare space, focusing on emergency medical services and pre-hospital care, while preparing a workforce capable of addressing healthcare challenges both in India and globally. Founded in 2007 by N. Ramakrishnan, TACT (now RED TACT) aspires to empower simulation-based clinical training. Through this collaboration, RED.Health can ensure a steady pipeline of skilled personnel, enhancing both response times and the quality of care offered across its operations in more than 30 cities. This step also aligns with RED Health’s vision of establishing a 911-like system in India, ensuring readiness in emergencies. Leveraging RED Health’s expertise and nationwide presence, RED TACT plans to establish a robust training network in key cities such as Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, and Bengaluru. While continuing to deliver its well-regarded existing curriculum, the academy will launch innovative programs such as a finishing school for healthcare professionals, bridge courses for fresh MBBS graduates, NABH training packages, and other skill-based courses. As part of its growth strategy, RED Health plans to integrate digital learning platforms to make quality training accessible across urban and rural regions. The collaboration will also facilitate partnerships with universities to create academic programs that bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Founded in 2016 by Prabhdeep Singh, RED Health is a medical emergency response platform, dedicated to transforming emergency care through technology and skilled personnel. It operates a multi-city fleet of more than 6,000 ambulances equipped for both critical and non-critical care. It collaborates with over 100 hospitals and 70 enterprises to provide comprehensive medical response systems across India.
