It’s a little sad that the only way indian apps see quick scale is when they are positioned with nationalsim/patriotism. The push comes less from product love and more from nationalism. that’s not inherently bad, but it says a lot about how distribution really works here. For a founder without existing reach, influence or PR muscle like zoho, it sets almost zero hope. You can build something great, but unless it catches a wave bigger than the product itself, it’s near impossible to break out. Still believe that these short term hypes wont help if the product is not good enough. There have been many examples before. PLG >>
