Only the shear wave polarized along the magnetic field depends exclusively on the magnetic field in an undeformed body. 2. The MAP matrix and deformation play a crucial role in tuning wave speeds to a very large extent. 3. To practically use iso-MAPs in metamaterials or phononic crystals, soft matrices, active deformation, or alternative design strategies are essential.
