Showing people who like the content is very good feature and if anyone want to exclude themselves out of that list a opt out option should be given to give privacy.

Yes, we might need to tweak the user identity/anonymous feature a little bit. Instead of showing it beside comment box, we can show it at the top of the post (preferably on the right side) so while interacting on the post the user can select in she/he wants to show their identity or be anonymous. Other solution could be, if the majority of users interact and especially when only like the posts and comment rarely, there could be the same option on the top of feed itself (or maybe a floating icon) which can help users interact in one go without switching to anonymous and back to user identity again and again. But the second options needs user behaviour tracking which can be used to improve this critical user experience pattern in order to maximize the interaction among users.
