The Way I See It • 6d

🖍️ A founder once told me, I can build startups to solve global problems…. but I can’t figure out how to file my compliance forms without losing my mind.” That hit me hard. India has crossed 100+ unicorns, and yet, many founders will tell you the toughest part isn’t raising money or finding talent it’s navigating policies that feel stuck in the past. Here are a few things that could change the game: 1. Bureaucratic hurdles:Why should a founder building cutting-edge tech spend more hours on paperwork than on product? A truly digital, one-click system for compliance would free up massive creative energy. 2. Level the funding field: Early-stage startups, especially in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, struggle to be seen. Imagine the kind of disruption we’d unlock if capital reached beyond the usual hotspots. 3. Inclusion as growth strategy: Only ~14% of Indian founders today are women. That’s not just a diversity issue it’s lost opportunity. More women-led startups could be India’s biggest untapped growth engine. 4. Turn ideas into IP power: If filing and protecting patents became simpler and cheaper, Indian startups wouldn’t just be competing they’d be leading globally. We don’t just need applause for our startup ecosystem. We need policies that are as bold and agile as the entrepreneurs driving it. So What’s the one policy fix you believe could unlock India’s startup potential 10x faster?
