Every decade, a new platform changes how billions of people spend their time online. In the early 2000s, the Web became the default platform. Search engines (Google, Yahoo) organized content, and ads (AdSense, Display) monetized it. Then came the Mobile era. Social apps like Instagram, TikTok, and mobile ad networks like AppLovin reshaped how we discover, consume, and monetize content. Now we’re entering the AI era. Tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude aren’t just apps - they’re becoming the new “interface” for how people interact with information and services. History shows us a pattern: New platform → Massive attention shift → New ad infrastructure emerges. • Web had AdSense. • Mobile had AppLovin and TikTok Ads. • AI doesn’t have its “ad layer” yet. That’s the opportunity in front of us. With FlowAds, we’re actively exploring this space - building the missing rails between publishers, LLMs, and advertisers. More soon.
