We have engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs capable of almost anything but but talent alone doesnโ€™t make a product iconic. Look at IKEA: simple furniture, yet every detail from design to packaging to logistics is relentlessly refined over decades. That level of obsession is rare. In India, we often confuse speed with progress, complexity with sophistication, and features with value. We innovate, yes but rarely with clarity, simplicity, and patience. Meanwhile, the world rewards elegance, clarity, and relentless focus. Can India create something like IKEA? Technically, yes. But it wonโ€™t come from coding brilliance or short-term wins. It will come from thinking globally from day one, obsessing over the product itself, and being willing to endure the long grind without applause. Hereโ€™s the question we rarely ask ourselves: Are we building to show we can or to create something the world actually remembers? Because the line between โ€œgoodโ€ and โ€œworld-classโ€ is not talent. Itโ€™s thinking deeper, caring more, and lasting longer than most dare to.
