I get it. Follow-ups close deals. But can we please not follow up within an hour? Got an email at 7:56 PM asking, “Any update on this?” The last conversation? That was at 6:48 PM. One hour. That’s all I got. Not even enough time to finish dinner or draft a proper reply. This isn’t sales urgency. It’s sales anxiety for both sides. If you're in sales, here's a gentle reminder: ✅ Give people time to respond ✅ Set clear next steps before following up ✅ Don’t make your follow-up the reason they don’t want to reply Your follow-up game should build curiosity, not pressure.
