I’m also building my startup from scratch and couldn’t afford high salaries in the early stage. So I designed a unique 3-layer payment model: 1️⃣ Module-Based Payment – Each dev is paid based on what they build (e.g., auth system = ₹4–5k), tracked in our internal dev dashboard. 2️⃣ Revenue Sharing – After MVP launch, for 2 months, every dev gets 1% of revenue from each client. 3️⃣ Credit System – Exceptional work earns credits (1 credit = ₹200). These build up and convert to payouts once real revenue starts coming in. All contracts are backed legally (IP rights, NDAs, etc.) for safety. Already received 100s of responses and hired a few core devs. Anyone who sticks with us through this 3-month MVP grind gets a Founding Member Letter in Month 4. This system helped me bring in real talent, even without fancy money upfront. What do you think?
