AI content can still be monetized on youtube If you’re a creator using clips, AI tools, or remixing content, here’s what just changed (and what didn’t): 1. “Repetitious content” is now “Inauthentic content.” This is YouTube’s way of calling out spammy, low-effort, mass-produced videos that add no real value. These were already not eligible for monetization — now the policy just spells it out better. 2. Reused content? Still safe — with conditions. Reaction videos, compilations, commentary, and clips can still earn money. But only if you’re actually transforming the original. No lazy re-uploads. Think: insight, humor, editing, or something new that adds context. 3. AI content? Yes, it's allowed. You can use AI tools to script, edit, voice, or enhance videos — and still monetize. Just follow the usual monetization rules and be transparent when your content is synthetic or altered. In short: Spammy = demonetized Reused = fine if you add value AI = welcome, if used responsibly No need to panic or pivot — just stay original, stay honest, and keep creating content that actually gives people a reason to watch.
