If I were building a SaaS product, I’d skip these and save 100+ hours: 1. Dark mode vs light mode? Pick one. You don’t need both. Perfecting both themes is a time sink early on. 2. Multiple languages? I launched in both English and Korean. Truth is, if people find your product valuable, they’ll use it in English. Skip i18n for v1. 3. Too many features? I waited to launch until I had four core features. Should’ve shipped with two. Start smaller. Learn faster. 4. Every user request? Most feedback is noise. Not all requests serve your larger user base. Learn to say no—kindly. 5. Fear of judgment? The biggest blocker. Waiting to get it “right” wastes months. Shipping something imperfect teaches more than endless tweaking. Want to move fast? Be brave, stay focused, cut the fluff.
