Selling exotic birds isn’t as simple as it sounds — behind the scenes, there are countless challenges that most people never see. Bird farms generate a lot of dust — from feathers, feed, and constant movement. It's worse than most livestock farms. Water needs to be changed every single day, or diseases can spread like wildfire. Then there’s the issue of rats. They climb up the cages, try to attack the birds, and if they succeed — the bird usually dies from shock or injury over the next few days. Temperature control is another constant battle. The environment can’t be too cold — it needs to stay slightly warm for the birds to remain healthy and stress-free. And cleanliness? Non-negotiable. You need to change the paper beneath each cage two to three times a week to maintain hygiene and avoid infection. It’s a full-time operation with zero room for negligence. Follow me for the raw realities of building businesses from scratch — not just the highlights.

Today, I had a strange observation at my farm. I saw a tiny bird hunting a cockroach. Interestingly, most of us, especially females, perceive cockroaches as a danger. On the other hand, we don't view small birds as a threat and often feed them seeds
