I believe India is following a similar path to what South Korea once did. These days, we’re placing a stronger emphasis on innovation and moving more toward entrepreneurship, which sets us apart from the route Malaysia took in the past. That said, if we want to boost our economy, attracting foreign companies to invest and set up manufacturing plants in India is important. However, to truly grow and avoid falling into the "middle-income trap," we must also become more self-reliant. What we really need are innovators and people with an entrepreneurial mindset.
