🚀 India’s creator economy jumped from 0.9M to over 4M in just 4 years. But here’s the real question: Why are Gen-Z creators and freelancers still chasing payments, stuck with shady platforms, and earning in broken systems that weren’t built for them? 🧠 I’ve been working on a project called GeeksGrow GigGrow — a mobile-first gig marketplace focused purely on: • INR payouts (backed by Razorpay escrow), • Quick gigs in content, design, admin, etc., • Built-in affiliate income so even referrals earn, • And full transparency from day one. It’s our small attempt to create something better than what we had to deal with ourselves. No middlemen. No vague terms. No “coming soon” promises. 📢 I genuinely want to hear from folks in this space: • What has your freelance/gig experience in India been like? • What’s the one feature you wish platforms like Fiverr or Upwork had? • Is there even a “trust-first” way to build this ecosystem? 👇 Let’s talk. Let’s break it down. Let’s build it better. 🧡 Looking forward to hearing what the Medial community thinks.
