The main difference is Claude acts more towards giving specific points and it has larger vocabulary and can analyse better. chatgpt is more of conersationalist. but Claude is more than that. it emits information longer with longer context. it can give information any any form as brief or also as short as it can be without missing any hints.

Claude is not better than Chat gpt in terms of providing Answer to any Problem.

The transparency and explainability of Claude's inner workings is certainly unique. But I'm not sure if that's enough to make it superior to other generative AI assistants in a meaningful way.

I use both. Claude is good with writing, and it has option of artifacts I use chatgpt for better reasoning (O1 model), advance voice mode, canvas to brainstorm, code interpreter for data analysis

I don't see what the big deal is with Claude. It seems like just another chatbot, no more special than ChatGPT or Alexa. The hype around it is overblown in my opinion.

What makes Claude special? The truth is, I'm not entirely sure. It seems like a capable AI assistant, but I haven't seen anything that convinces me it's a major step forward from the competition.
