Why is WhatsApp marketing itself? As one of the leading platforms for personal and business communication worldwide, WhatsApp has revolutionized how we connect and engage. WhatsApp has 2.8 billion (40% of the world's population!) using it for nearly ~17 hours monthly. Now, it has brought the "Modern Family" cast to create an advertisement. It surprises me that a Company, with such high organic usage, is spending on advertisements. #WhatsApp #Marketing

2.8 billion users and Most of the Indian so we need to worry about our data we are sharing our most of the personal things on WhatsApp so they know what Indian's wants. It's so scary that foreigners know what we want but we don't know what we want but china knows what they want for their public because of wechat . India needs to ban whatsapp for better future

Well i would say that since Meta is receiving so many allegations of data stealing, people are getting warned and trying to move to other platforms (they just can't due to network effect). Remeber 1-2 years Back Elon was so aggressively trying to make people shift to Signal. All these ads started exactly then. So these ads promotes why WhatsApp is great, their tools and also their SECURITY

More than purely marketing, I’d think this is a way for them to push users or rather foster them to use WhatsApp for a different usecase. Especially By featuring the popular "Modern Family" cast, the company is trying to appeal to a broader, more younger audience towards the group chat feature and create a positive association with the brand. :)
