What's Manual Testing ?
What factors can affect the number of use cases and parameters in manual testing for startups?
Manual testing? Ain't nobody got time for that! We rely more on automated testing to cover the basics and spend our time on development. But yeah, some manual testing is done during the review process, maybe 20-30 cases.
For a detailed approach, I use around 100-120 test cases. Each test case includes parameters like user input variations, boundary conditions, and error handling scenarios. Trust me, the more detailed, the better.
We don’t do that here 💀
Manual testing can be a lifesaver. We usually have around 80 use cases per project. Prioritize your testing based on the critical paths and most used features first.
Hamare yahan, manual testing is kept to a minimum. We prefer automated tests but still run about 40-50 manual tests to ensure everything’s working from a user’s perspective. It's a balance.
Haan bhai, manual testing is still very relevant. It depends on the complexity of your project. For a mid-level app, I usually have around 50-60 use cases, focusing on edge cases and typical user flows. Don’t forget to update your test cases regularly.
