What’s something that pushes you to stop being a sloth and get stuff done? For me, in full disclosure, self-shaming and humiliation works well. I find myself to be much more productive in an environment where I’m surrounded by people who are also working like cafes but cannot seem to send that important email/make that important presentation when i’m home alone. I used to scroll reels endlessly feeling like I’m a time traveler going from day to night but then one day while i was home alone scrolling reels i just looked at the open door of my bedroom and visualised myself standing there looking at me lying down the way i was and holding my phone and just being a waste of space and it immediately made me shut it and get going. Maybe if you don’t have such a vivid imagination and aren’t into shaming yourself to do things, just try asking yourself “what was the last reel you watched about“ while you scroll through them. Probably won’t even remember It.

Yes that's the point. The learning per second from watching a reel is low no matter how informative it is because the retention is very low.

Just one suggestion my man, have you noticed how when you beat up metal it does change shape, but it DOES look beat up irrespective. Just don’t let that happen to you.

Honestly i used to do this exact thing, while work was kind of getting done, humiliating wasn’t the best alternative (quality wise) What I’ve started now is rewarding myself, as i finish a certain Part of my day with a certain amount of work. I reward myself with a great, long documentary. While i relax and do other things, I’ll say it works pretty well

Entrepreneurship takes you no where. It definitely brings you lot of materialism in your life but the sacrifices you give are comparatively more precious then these things. But only thing which still keeps me motivating this is because the kick I get doing all this stuff in return with nothing much is something which keeps me addicted to this path.

I always put everything in my to-do, and I have it open with me whole day. So whenever I'm a bit slothy.. I open that and see where I'm standing for the day. It gives me a push that how much needs to be done more. After achieving, you can start with the "reels scrolling" part of the day. No guilt then
