There's this guy called Sahil Khanna on YouTube , he started an astrology channel by inviting "gurus" on his podcast, he gained 1 Lakh subscribers within a month and it's growing like crazy

I had done a research on astrology trying to identify people behaviour which was used to identify criminal which was still in use.

There are 100's of sites in this market. Every possible thing they are doing, it's bit late to start. Recently astrotalk got 160cr funding.

Previously worked as a PM in this market. Very difficult for a new app to get started and be profitable. We scaled our product to 1000 DAU without any paid marketing , but due to the type of audience and psychology, it becomes very tough to be profitable. People are more astrologer loyal than platform. So they will try 5 different astrologers on Astrotalk before choosing other platform ( apart from for free calls). And with astrotalk's positioning and current revenue, i don't think it will be easy to run a profitable online astrology app. Having said that, if you can bring something out of the box for supply side ( or maybe AI/GPT based astrology) then you can give it a try.

Yes it has a huge potential,but no standardization or marketing. Most might think its just waste of time, change that perception. Make use of Ai as well. It will be too hard, it will be not easy though.

Bro id suggest you google astrology online, i got shocked one time (was trying to research and understand too) there are crazyyyy amount of websites dont even know if all of them are even legit, but yeah other than the one you mentioned, i think most guiliable people get fooled by that because those are at the top of the search.

Scalable in other countries

Astrology market has a lot of potential. Tbf I don't believe in it but a few weeks ago, I was surprised to know that one of my friends who is an atheist and I never thought he'd even believe in something like astrology, uses AstroTalk. He was insisting me to use it as well. Astrology holds potential across all age group. I can think of a few ideas. I haven't used any online astrology service, so I don't know if these ideas are unique or already offered by other platforms. > One time fee based model for connecting with astrologer via different modes. Charge least for chatting(as many people can be put to work for typing and one astrologer can handle queries of many at a single time), charge more for voice calling and put 1-to-1 video calling at a premium price. > A subscription based model(monthly, yearly options) where a user gets a personal Astrologer who'd personally call the user whenever the person is expected to receive a good or bad news according to predictions of astrology

but does it actually work for users? how many can vouch for them here?

Obviously you should try soemthing new, this market is very very promising.
