4. Some learings from the startups I have invested in - - If you ask if someone has a problem and if they want a solution. They will always say yes. The key question is how deep is the problem for them and will they pay for it? - Insight generation depends on asking the right questions not leading questions. e.g- If I ask you do you think you like your home clean? you will say yes. Do you think a robot that can clean will be of interest to you? The answer will be yes. So a cleaning robot is a great idea, but it failed. Can you identify the problem here?
