This post is for devs that are looking to join another startup as a co-founder. What are the terms that would excite you if the founder isn't able to pay you your salary? Do you actively look for such startups? If yes, where do you look? If you're an engineer who joined another startup as a co-founder already, what drove you to it? And at what stage did you join?

I joined because the problem was personally very close to me and I was immediately sold on the solution.

Joined early stage. The reasoning behind was ownership of my time and effort. I would rather spend time working on my interests and fail rather than spend time attending daily sync ups and pizza parties.
